Wilson Barron returned to his early love of drawing and painting after a career in engineering and management. Almost by chance he became involved with the Pastel Society from its very beginning and he has exhibited in every PSI exhibition since. In the Society he has been probably more interested in its administration and growth than in his artistic endeavours, and has served as both Secretary and Treasurer at times over the years.
Landscapes, boats, bridges, and buildings are his favourite subjects with the odd still life from time to time. He enjoys experimenting and messing around with art and computers, although he is less active these days.
Wilson was made an Honorary Member of the Society in 2007.
